Strategy Consultant

Salary: £45,000-70,000

Our client is a high growth firm with a strong reputation for competitive intelligence, as well as strategic planning and launch preparation. Historically supporting the top 25 pharmaceutical companies to successfully prepare, launch, and commercialise their products, they have also more recently been focussing on emerging biopharma.

Due to their recent success they are keen to continue their growth over the last 5 years by adding experienced Consultant’s to their UK team; with key hires at senior levels both in the UK and US, commercial strategy in the company is booming.

Our client has a strong focus on work-life balance and a flat structure is something they are very proud of, allowing junior team members to work collaboratively with senior principles and the extended leadership team.

The role of a Consultant will hold pivotal responsibility in both strategic direction but also completion of projects across commercial, corporate and product strategy.

 Successful candidates are typically responsible for:

  • Unique opportunities to assist manage daily client interactions with full oversight over project teams.
  • Working on concurrent projects with both short and long term turnarounds
  • Coordinate with leadership and project team to guarantee project outputs either one-to-one or as part of an experienced team
  • Preparing business presentations, communications, and client internal and external training aids
  • Support business development beyond day to day specifics with opportunities shape the growth and expansion of the business.

The right individual for our client will possess the following:

  • 2-4 years experience is life science consulting
  • Life Science degree (PhD/ MBA is desirable)
  • Well rounded individual with flexible, structured and results orientated working style
  • Fluency in English; any other language would be a plus
  • Wide therapeutic area experience with preferences in oncology, neurology, vaccines, cell and gene therapy, rare diseases and immunology
