Our client is a highly established consultancy that provides strategic advice to top pharmaceutical companies, particularly during the launch phase of new drugs to ensure that the product is accessible, competitive, and can hence reach its maximum potential when hitting the market.  With an outstanding track record so far, our client has grown exponentially over the last decade, and with plans to double in size by 2024, they have partnered with Apsida to expand their specialist consulting team in the UK.

Role Overview:

As a Consultant, your main responsibility will be to deliver high-quality project work to clients across a range of therapeutic areas, providing solutions to their challenges whilst maintaining strong relationships and identifying potential business development opportunities as and when they arise.  Although varied, projects typically focus on strategic planning and competitive strategy in order to put your client in the best possible position for a successful product launch.

Who You Are:

  • A professional with ~3 years of experience and an understanding of the Life Science industry.
  • Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactive when keeping up to date with the latest data and market research.
  • Familiar and comfortable with the fast-paced and rewarding nature of consulting.
  • Able to independently identify potential business development opportunities.
  • Highly literate and a strong communicator who can provide defendable opinions and solutions to clients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research within particular markets and therapy areas.
  • Delivering high-quality project components within the specified timeframes.
  • Identifying and highlighting BD opportunities and attending BD meetings.
  • Offering clients your opinion and proposed solutions to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Working and engaging with a number of teams across different disciplines, providing your knowledge and support where required.
  • Using strategic and critical thinking skills to perform analyses that identify key insights to support clients.
