Engagement Manager

I am currently partnered with a fast-paced, high growing firm that distinctively does a lot of work within strategic planning, brand strategy and launch planning. Collaboratively partnering with the top 20 pharmaceutical companies along with having a recent focus on emerging biopharma clients, to victoriously prepare and launch their products to market.

The firm that I am working with have been continuously successful over the last 2 years and they are eager to continue to add to their pool of talent, by bringing onboard more skilful engagement managers based in their UK team.

Our client has a robust structure on work-life balance and a flat hierarchy, this is something that they really pride themselves in to ensure projects are worked on collaboratively from junior team members with more senior principles and the wider leadership team.

The role of an engagement manager will hold a crucial responsibility in the internal development of junior team members but also producing high quality completion of projects.

Successful candidates are typically responsible for:

  • Coordinating junior team members on particular projects and reiterating this to the partners
  • Producing projects with both short and long-term timelines concurrently
  • Being the direct client contact on numerous projects at once
  • Actively seeking business development opportunities further than day to day activities to form the growth and extension of the business.

The right individual for our client will possess the following:

  • Life Science Degree
  • 2+ years experience in life science consulting
  • Being a flexible, open, supportive individual to reinforce the development of junior team members
  • Fluency in English, another language is desirable
  • Extensive experience within the therapeutic areas: neurology, oncology, vaccines, cell and gene therapy, immunology and rare diseases
