Our client is a truly global consultancy that provides specialist market access and commercial strategy solutions to leading biotechnology and biopharmaceutical clients.  They aim to help clients successfully launch innovative treatments and therapies worldwide, and have partnered with Apsida to seek an Associate Director to join their expert team.  Although based in London, our client can consider a remote-working arrangement for the right candidate. Progression is an important aspect of our client’s ethos, so the successful candidate will be supported on the path towards a Director-level position from the offset.

Role Overview:

As an Associate Director, you will manage and deliver projects whilst maintaining strong relationships with clients and will play an active role in helping grow the business through business development initiatives.  You will also work closely with your team of Analysts and Consultants, providing coaching and support to ensure that individuals are performing and developing on-track to meet their personal career goals.

Who You Are:

  • An ambitious professional with ~6 years of Life Science strategy consulting experience.
  • Interested and experienced in particular therapeutic areas including cell and gene therapy.
  • An experienced Project Manager, with a track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • A confident and persuasive presenter with proven client management skills.
  • Familiar and comfortable with the fast-paced and rewarding nature of consulting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing multiple strategic projects at one time with some support from the Senior team.
  • Line managing Analysts and Consultants, providing coaching, offering feedback, and leading performance reviews.
  • Performing research and analyses to ensure that client recommendations are defendable and of a high standard.
  • Leading workshops and meetings with clients whilst always building and strengthening relationships.
  • Meeting and exceeding given delivery and sales targets.
  • Conducting research and expanding your knowledge of particular therapeutic areas.
